Radio silence

October 4, 2005

So….. no blogging for a while because I've fallen into an obsessive habit, which I won't devulge since it would embarass me greatly (Danny calls it my great waste of time since it largely entails endless hours surfing, not too different from blogging), plus I've had a build up of stuff with a capital S that needed doing.

In midst of all that, I take time now to highlight a few things.

(a) Sara's ever expanding vocabularly has now grown to include her ABC's. Except that's all there is – just the A,B and C. Except she calls it A-I-G. Not the insurance company.

(b) I am getting more panicky about my damn Japanese exam. I remember nothing and don't do my homework. I'm now even contemplating ways to get out of it. Sheesh – my single achievement through this year and I'm trying to dodge it?

(c) We are off for our holiday to Germany in a week and a half. Worrying about warm clothing is one thing. Worrying about the 15-hour flight is another. I look forward to this with D-R-E-A-D. Danny and I are contemplating feeding the wriggly worm alcohol to keep her quiet. Joking, lah.

(d) When it rains, it pours. Why, oh why, is there suddenly so much to take care of? Is this what they call chaos theory? Stuff just happens in lumps along the space-time continuum? Why is it that when nothing much is going on, nothing ever happens, and when one thing happens, everything snowballs? I don't get it. I really don't.

Okay, end of musing. Time to get back to stuff. With the capital S.
